HORN OF AFRICA
EU foreign ministers today activated the EU's Operation Centre in preparation for the possible launch of a civilian mission to train and support maritime capacities in the Horn of Africa. The civilian mission would be the third EU mission in the region, alongside a training mission for Somali security forces and a naval mission to combat Somali pirates.
