Main interest rate remains unchanged

The European Central Bank has announced this month's plan for interest rates.
The European Central Bank has decided to leave the eurozone's main interest rate unchanged this month.  

The main refinancing rate remains at a historic low of 0.75%.  

Mario Draghi, the ECB's president, is now holding a press conference where he will explain the decision of the governing council and other ECB measures, including the move to buy government sovereign bonds.
