Draghi comments hit euro

Markets react to ECB president's guarded reference to the need to keep an eye on the euro's appreciation.

The euro fell sharply in value today (7 February) after the European Central Bank (ECB) warned that the European economy’s recovery “remains fragile” and that the greatest risks that it faces are on “the downside”.
