Environment department will not be carbon-neutral

Director says idea of buying carbon credits is not "overwhelmingly logical".

The European Commission’s environment department has no plans to go carbon- neutral, its new director-general told European Voice. The policy will influence the rest of the Commission, which looks to the environment department for guidance on going green.
