EU and US to discuss snooping allegations

Information from meetings may not be shared with the public.

Officials from the European Union and United States have agreed to clarify questions prompted by allegations that the US has been spying on the EU’s institutions. But a first meeting of an expert group has left it  unclear how widely their conclusions will be shared – and whether European citizens will be informed if the US collected the information from buildings belonging to the EU.
