EU suspends cohesion funds for Hungary

Finance ministers agree to freeze nearly €500m unless Hungary corrects public deficit by end of the year.

Finance ministers of the European Union today agreed to suspend almost €500 million in cohesion funds Hungary was scheduled to receive next year.
