Commission says never again over OLAF job

Fans of the soap-opera which culminated in the re-appointment of Franz-Hermann Brüner (right) as director-general of OLAF, the Union's anti-fraud office, will be disappointed to know that there may never be a repeat. Brüner was re-appointed in February, almost a year after his first five-year mandate had expired, and after his job had been advertised for external applicants.
