David Cameron and the EPP: a rational choice?

The new British opposition leader David Cameron made only one specific promise during the Tory leadership campaign - that he would pull the Tory delegation out of the European People's Party (EPP) group in the European Parliament. It has now caught up with him, and threatens to engulf the mood music about a new, inclusive, socially just Conservative Party. Europe has returned as the elephant in the room.
