Haughey's funeral more interesting than summit

Last week's European Council was not exactly thrilling stuff and some of those attending might have been envious of Ireland's Prime Minister Bertie Ahern, who was spared the trip to Brussels. He had to deliver the graveside oration at the burial of one of his predecessors as prime minister, Charles Haughey.
