Is Bush still the man from Mars? Venus should explore new direction in US policy

THE United States is regarded by many in Europe and the rest of the world as one of the biggest threats
to international peace and security.
For legitimate reasons, the Bush administration has been criticized for its aggressive behaviour towards Iraq. In recent months, however, US policy has changed. But the rest of the world, including Europe, seems – knowingly or unknowingly – to refuse to integrate these changes into their perceptions of the US.
