Is music industry on the wrong track?

MUSIC piracy is one of the biggest challenges that the music industry has had to face. According to the International Federation for the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), global sales of pirate music discs rose nearly 50% to an all-time high of 950 million in 2001, with a market value estimated at 4.3 billion euro.
