Ralf Güldner has been elected president of the European Atomic Forum (Foratom), a trade association representing Europe's nuclear industry, for a two-year term. Güldner is vice-chairman of the board of management of E.ON Kernkraft, and is a former chairman of the World Nuclear Association. Per-Olof Waessman, chief nuclear officer at Vattenfall, has been elected Foratom's vice-president.

Roberto Barone took office on 14 January as president of the Notaries of Europe (CNEU) for a one-year term, succeeding Bernard Reynis. Barone is a member of the National Council of the Italian Notariat, where he is responsible for international relations.

Robert Moraal has joined the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy as senior fellow for economics and investments. Moraal is director of Partner Konzalting, a Croatian consulting firm.

Annika Ahtonen has joined the European Policy Centre as a policy analyst to cover energy, environment, health and better regulation policy. She previously worked as communications and project manager at the Finnish Business and Policy Forum in Helsinki.
