Never forget how we suffered under the Soviets

The Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited world leaders to Moscow to celebrate the end of the Second World War on 9 May. This is indeed a date to celebrate: the destruction wrought by this war was enormous, leaving tens of millions dead, and countless destroyed families and homes. The atrocities committed by the Nazis, the Holocaust and its genocide, can never be forgotten.
