Officials look set to burn the midnight oil

Not content with holding its first formal meeting on a Saturday, the new Commission is also planning to burn the midnight oil. An edict has just gone out stipulating that the opening hours of Commission buildings are to be extended now that the Commissioners are based with their departments around Brussels and are no longer cooped up in the Breydel.
