Pat, the much-travelled president, finds there's no place like home

You certainly can't accuse European Parliament President Pat Cox of not being a man of his word. He is already well on the way to fulfilling one election pledge - to visit each of the 13 candidate countries before June's Seville summit. His busy itinerary this week has taken him to Tallinn in Estonia and the Slovenian capital Ljubljiana as well as on trips to Vienna and Florence. Further outings - to Lithuania, Cyprus, Malta and Hungary - are also planned.
