Poland's political brotherhood

At the risk of interfering in domestic politics, EN admits to being seduced by the idea of the Brothers Kaczynski, who are not a Dostoevsky novel but a Polish political phenomenon. Lech Kaczynski is mayor of Warsaw and a leading contender to become Poland's president. His brother Jaroslaw Kaczynski is head of the right-wing party Law and Justice and a possible contender for prime minister. General elections are scheduled for 25 September and presidential elections in October. What makes the brothers a bit special is that they will both be 56 on Saturday (18 June). Moreover, they are identical twins.
