Time to put our differences aside and restore a great relationship

In June 1963, eighteen years after the end of the Second World War and almost five months before his assassination, John F. Kennedy addressed an audience in Frankfurt about the essence of the transatlantic partnership. He said: “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future.”
