Unwelcome trend

It is a trend, but not one that Entre Nous welcomes. The general assembly of the European Federation for Retirement Provision met in Dublin on Monday and approved a change of name for the organisation, which represents 22 national pension fund associations from 20 European countries. Henceforth it is to be known as PensionsEurope – all one word, with a capital ‘E' in the middle. Just like BusinessEurope and DigitalEurope. How depressing. The new name will be launched at the European Pension Funds Congress in Frankfurt next week (20 November). Can't wait.
