Why DG chief is in limb-o at the airport

Graham Meadows, acting director-general of the Commission's regional policy DG, will have to keep his feet on the ground in more ways than one in future. Meadows recently suffered a badly broken arm after slipping on ice and had to have metal rods inserted into the limb, now held in a natty sling.
