Luxembourg agrees to tax-exchange legislation

Pressure on Austria to revise its position.

Luxembourg’s announcement that it will sign up to draft legislation allowing automatic exchange of tax information between member states has raised hopes in the European Commission that Austria, the one remaining country to oppose the proposal, may now back down.
