MEPs vote to exclude culture from trade talks with US

Parliament adopts non-binding resolution asking that audiovisual sector be exempt from transatlantic trade liberalisation.

The European Parliament has demanded that cultural and audiovisual services be excluded from negotiations on a free-trade agreement between the European Union and the United States that are expected to start before the summer.
