Poland urges rejection of ETS backloading plan

Environment minister says Commission proposal would be costly for central and eastern European countries.

Poland wants European Union member states to reject the European Commission’s plan to ‘backload’ the auctioning of allowances in the next period of the emissions trading scheme (ETS).
