Smoothing the road from Nice to Lisbon

Draft Nice laws need to be included in new treaty and role of EU diplomatic corps has to be defined.

Jan Fischer, the prime minister of the Czech Republic,  will go to Rome tomorrow (13 November) to consign his country’s copy of the Lisbon treaty to the vaults of Italy’s foreign ministry, the final resting-place for ratified EU treaties.
