Watson apologises for ‘insensitive’ tweet

Liberal MEP suggested that Cameron had caved in to terrorists.

Graham Watson, the leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe party, has been forced to apologise for sending out a tweet in which he suggested that al-Qaeda had won a victory over David Cameron, Britain’s prime minister, after Cameron postponed a speech on the EU because of the hostage situation in Algeria.
