Simplified revision of the treaty
“Article 48(6) in the Treaty allows revision of articles in Part three of the Treaty on Functioning of the European Union on internal EU competences by a unanimous decision of the European Council, followed by a ratification procedure within member states but without the need to convene a convention and an intergovernmental conference.”
