Turkey's ties with Europe have grown steadily, but it is too early to say if it will ever join the EU.

About TISK

TISK was founded in 1962 and currently consists of 22 sectoral employer organisations based on voluntary membership. TISK is a fully autonomous organisation with full “social partner” status and is the only umbrella organisation empowered to represent Turkish employers in industrial relations both in Turkey and abroad. TISK is a member of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), BUSINESSEUROPE and BIAC.

TISK has been a staunch and unwavering supporter of Turkey's EU accession from 1960s and has been working actively for this objective ever since.

TISK's president is Mr Tugrul Kudatgobilik.
