On Tuesday 29 May, at the International Press Centre - Résidence Palace, at the heart of the EU district in Brussels, European Voice held a debate about the future of EU migration policy. The debate, chaired by Simon Taylor, European Voice's assistant editor, brought together EU commissioner for home affairs Cecilia Malmström, former UK immigration minister Timothy Kirkhope MEP, the OECD's international migration expert Georges Lemaître and  Dr. Bahadir Kaleagasi, international coordinator and EU Representative of TÜSIAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) to debate how the EU can reform its migration policy to become more attractive for skilled migrants while addressing the concerns of emigration countries.
