The results of the 'Europeans of the year 2008' were announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 2 December 2008 at the exclusive and prestigious Palais de la Bourse (stock exchange) located in the heart of Brussels.
The event was attended by nominees and VIPs from the EU institutions, Brussels corps diplomatique and key decisions makers.
